Christmas Afternoon Tea at ATLAS Singapore: A Festive Experience in Art Deco Grandeur

21 December 2025

For a Christmas celebration that feels indulgent, elegant, and unmistakably festive, ATLAS Singapore is a great choice. Known as one of the most iconic bars and restaurants in Singapore, ATLAS is located on the ground floor of Parkview Square in Bugis, and is widely celebrated for its intricate and opulent interior, and its famous gin tower.

Stepping into ATLAS feels like being transported to another era. Designed in a lavish Art Deco style, the space is rich with bronze accents, burgundy tones, and plush leather lounge seats; reminiscent of grand European period pieces. The atmosphere is glamorous and opulent, and it’s no surprise that many visitors come as much for the ambience as they do for the dining.

A Festive Welcome at ATLAS

Our Christmas experience began on a high note with a special welcome cocktail for the festive season. Built on a base of champagne and gin, the drink was light, celebratory, and perfectly set the tone for the afternoon: sweet.

Celebrating Christmas: A Festive Afternoon Tea

Joslyn and I came for the Festive Afternoon Tea Set, priced at S$78++ per person, which reflects the premium positioning of ATLAS. While the menu is undeniably on the pricier side, this is a place where we’re paying for the full experience: the setting, service, and sense of occasion.

The savoury selection stood out the most. My favourite was the Alaskan king crab salad, which felt fresh, delicate, a little salty on the side, but rich in flavour. This was complemented by the truffled egg, chives, and brioche, a comforting combination that delivered refined flavours without feeling overly heavy.

For the sweet selection, the blackberry buttermilk panna cotta stood out with its light texture and gently sweet finish, offering a refreshing contrast after the richness of the savoury dishes. The frangipane pistachio Christmas tree was another highlight, making the afternoon tea both memorable and seasonally indulgent.

Each guest also gets to choose two beverages, and I went with iced mocha latte for a chilled, refreshing opening, and the Regal Earl Grey Tea for an aromatic and classic finish. Both drinks paired well with the pace of a relaxed afternoon spent in great company and elegant setting.

Despite the afternoon tea set’s delicate presentation, the meal was surprisingly substantial; don’t underestimate how filling the courses are.

Mezzanine Views and Photo Moments

One of the highlights of ATLAS is its mezzanine floor, which offers the perfect vantage point for photos. From above, you can capture the full grandeur of the space: the towering gin shelf, the central bar, and the beautiful lounge below.

Things to Know Before You Visit ATLAS

If you’re planning an afternoon tea at ATLAS Singapore, a few practical details are worth noting. The afternoon tea time ends at 5:30 PM, which can feel a little insufficient for a leisure experience depending on the time of arrival. While ATLAS enforces a stricter dress code in the evenings, afternoons are more relaxed, with a casual chic dress code that still fits the refined setting.

Is ATLAS Worth It for Christmas?

Would I visit ATLAS purely for the food on a regular day? Probably not. But for Christmas afternoon tea, special occasions, or moments when you want to dress up your afternoon, ATLAS is absolutely worth the visit. Between the festive welcome cocktail, thoughtfully curated menu, plush leather seating, and especially the breathtaking Art Deco interior, the experience feels extraordinary and celebratory.

Here’s wishing everyone a
Merry and Joyful Christmas!
