Atlas Beach Club Bali: Sunset Indulgence at the World’s Largest Beach Club in Canggu

11 February 2026

Sunsets are a beautiful, surreal phenomenon and in Bali, they feel nothing short of magical. As the sky softens and that glowing orb sinks gently into the sea, time seems to slow, if only for a moment, against that ombré canvas.

On this trip, that moment happened at Atlas Beach Club, a place that is impossible to miss, both in scale and energy. Located along Berawa Beach in Canggu, Atlas Beach Club markets itself as the world’s largest beach club, and stepping inside, it is easy to see why.

First Impressions: Big, Bold, and Built for Indulgence

Spanning an impressive 2.9 hectares, Atlas Beach Club feels less like a beach club and more like a destination on its own. The sprawling space is designed to accommodate everything from relaxed daytime lounging to high-energy nightlife, seamlessly transitioning between both as the day unfolds.

The highlight is, without question, its 300-metre beachfront pool that is reputed to be Southeast Asia’s longest. Designed with multiple pool areas and direct ocean views, the space allows you to ease into your own rhythm, whether in the water or simply observing the waves. Given the premium pricing for pool access, we chose a cosy corner nearby, complete with an unobstructed view.

The Sunset Experience at Atlas Beach Club

If there is one reason to visit Atlas Beach Club, it is the sunset.

The golden hour here is breathtaking. The sky slowly melts into warm shades of amber and rose, reflecting off the pools while the sound of waves blends effortlessly with music drifting through the venue. Sitting there, watching the sun dip beneath the horizon, felt like pressing pause on the chaos of everyday life.

For sunset chasers visiting Canggu beach clubs, Atlas offers an experience that feels both grand and intimate at the same time, the kind that reminds you why Bali continues to hold its magic.

And for those looking to extend the night, Atlas also houses the Atlas SuperClub, where international DJs and large-scale productions transform the venue into a nightlife hotspot. That said, visiting during sunset hours allows you to experience the club at its most visually stunning while still enjoying a relaxed, indulgent ambience.

Food and Drinks: Hits, Misses, and What to Expect

We ordered a selection of food and drinks to complete the experience.

The oysters, while fresh, were slightly disappointing as they lacked the plumpness and richness one might expect. However, the drinks more than made up for it. The alcoholic beverages (sangria for me!) were refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect for Bali’s tropical heat.

Atlas Beach Club also offers a diverse menu featuring international, Asian, and Indonesian cuisine, catering to a wide range of preferences. While the food selection leans towards casual dining, the drinks and overall ambience have elevated the experience.

Is Atlas Beach Club Worth Visiting?

Atlas Beach Club may not be the most intimate beach club in Bali, but what it offers is scale, energy, and a sunset view that is undeniably memorable.

It is best suited for travellers who enjoy vibrant atmospheres, scenic beachfront lounging, and those looking for a moment of unwinding.

My Verdict

If you are planning your itinerary and searching for the best beach clubs in Canggu or simply want a place to watch the Bali sunset in style, Atlas Beach Club is worth adding to your list.

Come for the view. Stay for the ambience. Leave with that lingering feeling that Bali sunsets somehow hit differently. If you have time in the day, check out my recommendations for great restaurants and cafés.
