It felt like just yesterday that I was sitting at my laptop, typing voraciously away at my 2025 New Year post. Time flies, and it brings me back to an adage I’ve held close for years, a gentle reminder to savour moments of happiness and persevere through the hard ones,
And this, too, shall pass.
2025 has been a busy year, especially at work. From back-to-back events to navigating the quiet complexities of people, it has been long and demanding. My health, too, hasn’t been at its best, worsening, even, and it has forced me to take several steps back, to pause and reflect on life as it is.
And perhaps this is life.
Wondering. Wandering. Learning. Growing.
As I look towards 2026, I don’t have any grand plans or lofty resolutions in mind. Instead, the most important intention I’m setting for the new year is to slow down. To take the time to reflect, to understand myself better, and to make choices I won’t regret.
The days are long, but the years are short.
Here’s wishing everyone a wonderful 2026, filled with gratitude, love, and beauty. To my loved ones, thank you for bringing such vibrant colours to my canvas of life. May the best day of our lives always be tomorrow.
